Studio 180 Dance offers the best and most professional dance in the Lakeway area. Classes are offered to students ages 3 to adult. We offer dance classes in the following disciplines: Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Breakdancing/Pop & Loc, Clogging, Pas de Deux, Progressions and Ballroom.

Mr. Ashley’s training and professional experience is vast and impassioned. He began his dance education in Atlanta at the Sandy Springs School of Ballet under Joan Kall Stewart and his mother, Rebeccah Cunningham . He later studied with Patsy Bromley (Director of Terpsichore School of Dance) and Ruth Mitchell (Director of Ruth Mitchell Dance Company). In the summer of 1986 he attended the Governors Honors Program in Dance. After graduating high school, Mr. Ashley majored in Dance under scholarship at Breanu College for two years. He then transferred to Florida and attended Jacksonville University’s dance program under scholarship. Before, during, and after college he enjoyed a professional career in Dance. Dance Companies include: The Ruth Mitchell Dance Company, Chattahoochee Dance Theatre, The Florida Ballet, Bay Ballet Theatre, Jacksonville Ballet Theatre, Point West Dance Company, Central Ballet Theatre, Sawnee Ballet Theatre and Dance FX. Mr. Ashley danced for two years at Bush Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida. He has also performed in community, regional, and professional theatre. Theatre companies include: Dunwoody Stage Door Players, The Alhambra Dinner Theatre, Theatre Jacksonville, Players by the Sea, Backlight Theatre Group, Morristown Theatre Guild, and Encore Theatrical Company. Mr. Ashley has been teaching Dance for over 25 years. Schools include: Lakeway School of Ballet & Dance, Dancers Pointe, Lavilla School of the Art’s, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Dansation’s Performing Arts Center, Sierra Summer Intensive, and Jacksonville Center for the Art’s. He was the Artistic Director of Downtown Dance Theater from 2010 to 2012. Students of Mr. Ashley have received scholarships’ to prestigious dance programs all over the country. Programs include: The Edge, Jacob’s Pillow, Nut¬meg Ballet Conservatory, American Ballet Theatre, Atlanta Festival Ballet, The Harid Con¬servatory, the Atlanta Ballet, and Ballet Nevada. Anna started studying dance at the tender age of three and has never looked back. She has studied in both Morristown and Knoxville, attending competitions and workshops in genres from ballet to Broadway. Anna has most recently been performing on the Knoxville fringe art stage with groups such as the Marble City Performance Company and The Ooh Ooh Revue. She's excited to be joining the Studio 180 family again as a teacher and can't wait to see what the season brings.

Lexi a native of Morristown began Clogging at the age of two with Sonja Wiseman. Throughout her Clogging career, Lexi has won many first, second, and third place awards, including overall female grand champion soloist on the national level. Lexi was the first female to receive a gold medal in the clogging division at the AAU Junior Olympics. She has spent the last five years in pigeon Forge, Tennessee, professionally clogging at the Hatfield and McCoy dinner theater. Lexi has taken classes with hip-hop star Twitch, Kent Boyd from so you think you can dance, and Brandon Noris from America's best dance crew. She has also had the pleasure of taking musical theater classes from several Broadway dancers. Lexi currently serves as a board member for the Morristown theater guild. She has had the pleasure of working with many theatrical groups in the area doing shows herself. Some of those include: high school musical one and two, the Wizard of Oz, Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day, and How I became a pirate. Lexi enjoys not only teaching others her love of dance, but also expanding her knowledge in the art. She can't wait to work with the students of Studio 180 Dance, and get them to a professional level of what she has loved doing for many years.
